Champions League: Premier League clubs oppose proposed changes

Four English sides will be competing in the last eight of this season's Champions League

Head Association clubs have contradicted proposed changes to the Victors Alliance design from the 2024-25 season, one of which would see four gatherings of eight groups bringing about more matches. 


As per reports, the European Club Affiliation, driven by Juventus executive Andrea Agnelli, plans to meet Uefa in May to examine the patch up.

English clubs have featured "critical worries" about the plans.

They added they would work to "secure" the Head Association.

Their dread is that the expansion of gathering stage amusements - from six to 14 - would influence the calendar of the household group.
