Champions League: The French Football League concerned by proposed reforms
Four English sides have made the quarter-finals of the Champions League but no French clubs reached the last eight |
The French Football Association (LFP) has pursued Head Class clubs in voicing worries about proposed changes to the configuration of the Heroes Group.
The European Club Affiliation will apparently talk about changes with Uefa - one of which would see four gatherings of eight groups, bringing about more matches.
The LFP governing body communicated its "most profound worry" over the changes.
In an announcement, they said the redo "compromises the aggressive and monetary equalization" of the French association.
A week ago, Chief Class clubs restricted the progressions and said they had "huge worries" about the plans.
Their dread is the expansion of gathering stage amusements - from six to 14 - would influence the timetable of the household group.
The proposed changes would be presented in the 2024-25 season.
